Siena

On our way to Florence we stopped in Siena, a hilltop town in the country. It was interesting coming from Rome to a much quieter town for lunch. Still beautiful with the houses and buildings built into the hills, but no traffic. It was quite peaceful.

There were a lot of birds soaring above.

The first and only time I got bruschetta in Italy. Extremely fresh, but I wish there was a bit more flavor with seasonings.

Meat sauce. So delicious.

Soccer field.

Tomorrow: Florence!
