Central Park

Central Park was a must see site on my list. Its so iconic, in my opinion. The movies and TV shows its been the backdrop for seem endless and I felt it was absolutely necessary to experience nature thriving in a huge city. Its pretty crazy to think about and see how big it actually is, dropped in the middle of this enormous concrete jungle.

The tulips were beautiful. I'm now thinking I want to buy some for my balcony.

There was a little wedding going on under one of the most picturesque terraces in the world.

The Bethesda Fountain and Terrace were gorgeous. They literally were everything I could have imagined. They don't build things like they used to.

Beautiful.

Concrete Jungle

View from Top of the Rock at Rockefeller Center, which is one of the attractions to the New York City PASS. I really liked this one because you could actually see the Empire State Building lit up rather than being at the top of it. Way off into the distance and to the right, you can see the Freedom Tower where the Twin Towers used to be.

However, the observation deck from the Empire State Building (also part of NYCityPASS) had incredible views for miles. It really is the heart of the city.

Attempted a panoramic picture.

Brooklyn Bridge.

Rooftop party! Can I join?

Central Park to the right.

Rockefeller.

Central Park in the distance.

Freedom Tower and the Statue of Liberty to the right, on the island.

Loved it!

Dylan's

One SWEET stop on the Gossip Girl tour was Dylan's Candy Bar. We were informed that its the largest candy store in the U.S., weighing in at a total of three floors of candy and sugar goodness.

The owner, Dylan Lauren is actually the daughter of famous fashion designer, Ralph Lauren. Pretty cool.

My favorite section. The gummies!

Fudge Bar.

The cutest place in the whole store was the top floor where an ice cream parlor resides. The booths were cupcakes. So adorable!

This place definitely fed my sweet tooth!
